Where Postmark wins

• Transactional deliverability and tooling. Postmark has a long-standing reputation for fast, reliable transactional delivery, with mature analytics and message streams.
• Inbound exists. Postmark accepts inbound to a domain/subaddress, parsed to a webhook and a time-limited API store.

For US-based teams sending transactional mail, Postmark remains a solid choice.

The EU gap

Postmark has no EU data-residency region - its infrastructure is US-based.

Security posture

Mailbox credentials and message bodies are encrypted at rest with a dedicated per-customer key (Fernet), wrapped by a master key; credentials are never returned by any API or logged.
